Double Mint
Commercial

January 2006: Mugshots
Buenos Aires; Argentina .What can I say about this job?
Well there was nothing negative to say about it…treated exceptionally well, paid well, excellent weathered excellent crew and company….
We [four of us] auditioned here in London, because they wanted people that would not appear in American soap operas nor commercials…and filmed in South America in Secret !?

Black Beard

November 1999: Lee’s People.
Excellent job, three days on the Cornish coast [land side ] pretending to be a pirate on a working sail boat…filmed for a BBC Canadian company about the then recent discovery of Blackbeard’s ship by divers on a sand bank

Pet Plan
Commercial

January 1999: Mugshots.
What a simply superb day’s filming. Both myself and my Trike getting a ‘Walk on’. This was one of my best paid jobs as I was on royalties, and this commercial ran for over two years. It was also great for publicity,
The brief for this was”Look mean, then smile as you stroke the rabbit, do it all in two seconds”.

The Priory

March 2001: Ray Knight
What an exciting day that this was…Zoe Ball had seen my name in the credits when I did Eastenders, and booked me because of my name and that she had worked with me on T.F.I. Friday. It was great fun and recorded in front of a live audience. It was my second appearance on The priory.

Eastenders

February 1997; Bovva Boots
Fantastic day, my first Eastenders. We were meant to be just background grunting when told to leave, but the actor said that it just did not make sense to kick us out of the hostel and for us to go so quietly. Thus I said the immortal line “leave it out!” [and gave my usual “I ain’t not doing nothing” to my friend.]..and history was made…a male character had, at last said those lines.

Discovery
Channel

October 1999: Lee’s people
A fabulous day, with the brief; “Pretend to be Fox from the X Files!”…I seem to remember that this was done in one take, and that they were so happy with me that they let me keep the jacket and glasses that I would go on to use as my stock ‘ 1970’s Open University math’s professor ‘ look…that many years later became my Hipster look…

Harry Hill

October 1999: Ray Knight
What a silly and great day…well actually morning. A quick job and local too [Teddington Studios]. This was as fun to make as it looks

Family Affairs

August 1997: Screenlite
Wow this was a strange day. I get on site to be told that I am to be a walk on with lines, but they want me to improvise the lines…amd do not tell me my cue…I loved doing this show they always put me in for a laugh…
I think that you can see that this was a one take and that I was sort of caught on the hop as I was not told that I was a named character.
